Grand Knight's Message
We are, as you all know, at the beginning of Lent; which is the forty days preceding the death and resurrection of Our Lord. I hope we all made a sacrifice, and gave up something for Lent. Maybe we fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays if you were not able to give something up. During Lent St. Martha's Church will have Stations of the Cross on Fridays.
On behalf of the council, I would like to welcome our newest brother Knight Jesus Ron, one of our Squires who just turned 18 years of age. I hope he can inspire other young people to join. We have degrees for for entrance into Knighthood coming up the week before Holy Week. On the 16th of March we will be having our St. Patrick's Dinner at St. Martin de Porres' James Collins Hall. I hope you will help us out and purchase a ticket. I would also like to wish you and your family a Blessed and Happy Easter, and I would also like to see as many members as possible at our 50th Anniversary celebration on April 6th, as you know this will be our last correspondence before this occasion.
